Review Series: Revair Reverse Air Dryer
Welcome to the review series! In this new series I’ll be reviewing just about everything … from viral hair tools, to beauty treatments, to restaurants and hotels. First up we have my thoughts on the Revair Reverse Air Dryer.
RevAir claims to dry, stretch, smooth, and lengthen all hair types in less than half the time of traditional blow dryer. Here are my thoughts…
Price
Retailing at a whopping $399, she’s a bit pricey. This is definitely in the price range of the higher end hair dryers such as Dyson and Shark, and while it uses a unique technology, it is single function, compared to the Dyson which can be fitted with a variety of attachments .
Brand
Personally I feel like this brand lacks a recognizable identity. We all know Dyson is very technology focused, and Pattern Beauty (which also just came out with a blow dryer) is very centered around the passion and personality of brand owner Tracee Ellis Ross. There feels like a lack of intention in creating community or forming a brand culture with RevAir.
Ease of use
This tool is super easy and efficient to use. It saves so much time and energy! The Revair simply sucks your hair in and saves your arms all the work. You can adjust the heat and tension settings to give you your desired result. It’s that simple!
Effectiveness
While this tool is super effective for stretching hair, it’s not going to be your go to for a sleek finish, but I love that it effortlessly stretches even the tightest coils.
Design
The technology behind this hairdryer is genius, combining tension and warm air flow allows less heat to be used. Even though I tried and enjoyed the OG Revair it is a little loud and bulky, I am excited to see that they came out with a new compact design that can be more easily stored.
