Travel Guide: Atlanta Edition

A guide to Atlanta from your favorite island girl turned city girl. There’s still so much to explore, but these are my current faves so far. If you’re here for exquisite eats, a great turn up, the best vibes, and looking fly for all of it, you are in the right place!

Hair Salon

Kristal at Salon Skanda is the only stylist I trust with my hair. Salon Skanda is family run, they specialize in curly, coily and kinky hair and are experts in applying color to all hair types.

Brunch Spots

Victory Restaurant & Lounge has great vibes, great food, definitely perfect for a turn up brunch. The food at Toast on Lenox is amazing, my suggestion, make a reservation. It’s just that good!

Fun activities

For a fun games night with your besties, I recommend The Painted Pin. There’s bowling, a ton of other games AND most importantly, a great bar! Who doesn’t love a good happy hour?! Gypsy Kitchen is one of my favorite rooftop spots for tapas and great vibes. And last but not least, The Black Hair Experience is everything! An experience for SURE - click here to learn more.

Wine Tastings

Montaluce is peaceful vineyard located approx. 1- 1.5 hours north of the city, but their Cabernet Sauvignon makes it well worth the drive. Perfect for a fun weekend with the girl! Chateau Elan is another on of my favorite vineyards. The grounds are absolutely STUNNING, and it’s closer to the city so it’s perfect if you want a quick getaway.

Facials

Ever since I started seeing Lauryn at Bespoke Aesthetics I’ve seen a major difference in my skin. She has a waiting list but her service and knowledge are a well worth the wait! 12/10 would recommend.

Shopping Mall

Perimeter Mall is my favorite. They have everything including Zara, H&M, Steve Madden, Nordstrom and more!

Date Night

Poor Calvins is simply exquisite, best lamb chops in the city. Little Alley Steak is the best steak house in Atlanta and it is such a vibe! This is where I discovered my go to “big girl” drank (lol) ask for the Sidecar with D’ussé and thank me later! Nan Thai is my top pick for fancy, romantic vibes with amazing food and A1 service. Save room for dessert, their crème brûlée is to die for! The Roof at Ponce City Market is #1 on my list for a fun and lit games night, it even turns into an ice skating rink in the winter. My fiancé and I love it there, the games are super fun and the bars are not shy on the liquor OKAY. The market has some great eats as well, I recommend the 8 Mile Restaurant. Last but not least, in fact very much at the top of my list is Bartaco. This is my go to for a casual date night when all that matters is the food and the company. Best tacos in the city PERIOD. May favorites are the duck and pork belly tacos.

Let me know if the comments if you’ve been to any of these places! Any suggestions on where should I check out next?!
